Michihli is a heading Chinese cabbage. The solid, semi-heading, upright heads can grow up to 20” tall with up to a 4” diameter. Excellent when grown as a fall crop. Can also be sprouted for salads, sandwiches and stir-frys or grown as microgreens. These will tolerate some shade but they prefer sun and cool weather; so, they are an excellent choice for fall gardening. Sow 1/4-1/2" deep and space plants 12-24" apart, depending on what size heads you want. Allow 1.5-2' between rows. May also be sprouted in jars or grown as microgreens for clipping.
