Gardeners everywhere appreciate the attributes of Scabiosa. Also known as Pincushion Flower, these attractive annuals establish nicely from Scabiosa seed.
Fashionable salmon pink, fully double, large pincushion flowers. One of the easiest to grow and probably the most productive of all the cutting Scabiosa flowers.
In addition to being attractive in the garden, the Scabiosa Pincushion Flower is also excellent for cutting, drying or pressing. It is also pollinator friendly attracting bees and butterflies to the garden.
Great for cottage gardens, beds and borders.
Sow 3 - 4 seeds per plant and space 12 - 18 inches apart. Sow the seeds and press the rose Pincushion Flower seeds gently into the starter mix. Keep the seed moist until germination. Scabiosa flower seeds can also be sown directly outdoors after danger of frost has passed, but they will be very late to bloom.
